STIHL Distributor Bryan Equipment Sells Five Millionth STIHL Product

They say you are known by the company you keep. For STIHL Inc. that means being known for the companies associated with our unique distribution strategy. The six Branches and six independent Distributors that make up the two-step STIHL distribution network are in their own rights highly successful companies. The success of STIHL distributors in marketing and selling STIHL equipment, as well as setting up and servicing STIHL dealers, is a large reason that STIHL became the number one selling brand of handheld outdoor power equipment in America.*

Recently one of our distributors, Bryan Equipment Sales, Inc. celebrated a major milestone selling its five millionth unit. The unit, a STIHL BG 55 handheld blower, was sold to STIHL dealer Bair's Inc. in North Canton, Ohio. To mark the occasion, STIHL will be sending the dealership a BR 600 STIHL Magnum™ backpack blower signed by Fred Whyte, president of STIHL Inc. and Rick Bryan IV, president of Bryan Equipment.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Bryan Equipment as they mark such a milestone in their history,” said Whyte. “We have been partners in this industry for more than 40 years and are proud to call them a part of the STIHL family.”

For more than 60 years, Bryan Equipment Sales, Inc. has distributed outdoor power equipment (OPE) tools to full-servicing retailers. As one of the leading distributors in the OPE industry, as well as the number one distributor of STIHL power tools in the United States, Bryan Equipment has aggressively and successfully marketed STIHL products for more than 43 years to their six-state region, consisting of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, middle and western Tennessee and West Virginia.

  1. It is a good milestone in terms of sales. It means only that their products are being steadfastly used in more industrial applications based on hand tools australia applications. I look for them to expand their market diversity through channels.
